Potato Junkie

Loose surreal portrait of author Brian O'Nolan, who's pen name was Flann O'Brien. The title was just something that popped into my head, but has two connections with the author. It was written by an Irish band from Belfast, and the song is about James Joyce doing something naughty with his sister. "Flann" not only had some connections to Joyce, but also wrote him as a character in one of his books. Oh, also, he was Irish. One of the funniest things I have read about him was that he was quoted in blaming Hitler for starting WWII only to discourage his book sales. The easiest book to recommend to anyone is the one he didn't see fit to publish during his lifetime, if I remember it right. The Third Policeman. Since reading it, I have become nearly 52% paper.
