oh, man! this is so POWERFUL! even with his eyes closed, and that serene expression. you used the dark tones REALLY well, dave!

Thank you. I love the expression, too. It is intense, even with eyes closed. That is what I saw, anyway. I thought heavily of old photos of criminals that were hanged. It seemed to go up against my thoughts on John, but those photos are so eerie to me. I don't know. I thank you so much. This was a happy outcome. I love it and enjoyed doing it

awesome. and thank you. that is very helpful. that was the first time I really just "went for it", bold like. I am pleased with it for that reason. I get caught up on realism, and i am trying to get away from that, even when doing the portrait stuff. So thank you for saying that. It felt more right, and I hope to move more in that direction in future. Your feedback is extremely useful.
